Hilton Garden Inn Westchester Dobbs Ferry

This is a review to personally thank Sierra and Monique for making our stay fantastic! After reading all the terrible reviews unfortunately a week before our stay I was very concerned. Monique was the first point of contact and I was so glad to hear her voice after reading all the good things said prior, she got the ball rolling and eased my mind a bit - we were traveling cross country for Christmas and this was our first time trying a new hotel in 5 years. Sierra truly came through as the MVP - when the GM and marketing manager disappeared on me not returning calls or emails after offering assurances in person back in the fall only to make a bad situation worse in customer care. I have honestly never stayed in a hilton that had such absentee upper management for such a small local place. Thankfully Sierra was a friendly face that I remembered from my tour and she made our visit go very smoothly from start to finish! The room was well cared for and the cleaning staff did an excellent job as well. **Anyone that feels the breakfast is a scam is not being truthful they are very upfront that if you would like to eat there, there will be a fee and if you are a diamond member as I am the $10 food voucher choice will not take the place of this, there is a daily fee as well for parking which yes can be inconvenient, but the hotel is quite reasonable, bottom line there are no secrets!** The staff will not steer you wrong! If I had any complaint at all it would only be that Sierra and Monique are not put directly in upper management positions, as it feels they are running the hotel quite well themselves. They deserve all the credit, and they truly care for guests on a level that they should be compensated higher for, coming from a hospitality background I know that you are only as good as your staff. Hilton would be missing the mark not to recognize them for doing the real work to manage guests properly with kindness attentiveness and care! Thank you both!!

I stayed here for a night and I would definitely stay again. The staff was nice. The room was spacious and clean. There are restaurants nearby and its close to the city.

Amazing experience, especially the front desk staff even though it was New Year eve they were super happy and courteous and helpful... all of them!! I only got the chance to get the name of one of them Milady, thank you all for your kindness!! Definitely would stay there again!!

I was here for a business trip and the place is near a bunch of restaurants and a movie theater and less than a 10 minutes walk to a bus station so that was nice. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast bar, it was pretty mediocre and no you do not get a buffet bar. My room was nice and clean and was spacious. There was a weird smell in the hallway when i got up to my room on the 3rd floor though. The staffs were always nice to me when I pass by in the lobby. I tried the wings and dumplings from the bar and the dumplings were a let down but the wings were ok.

Monique have outstanding characteristics. Her jollyful spirit make guests experience a magnificient one. I never seen such lovable hospitality in such a long time. This hotel is the place to dwell at.

Clean with excellent customer service. Monique at the front desk ensured my comfort and scheduled me for a late checkout in the morning so that I could sleep in. Placed me in a quiet section of the hotel as I requested. I later saw her scoring a mother with 3 young children to their room. I appreciate people like Monique who provide service with a smile.

I like to stay in this hotel every time I travel for business in the area. They’re in a nice location and have restaurants nearby. It is extremely clean and the staff is friendly.

My room was comfortable, clean and well maintained. The front desk staff was very pleasant. This is my second time staying here and will stay again the next time I am in the area
